ABOUT THE HYMN:

God’s people throughout the ages realized that as long as we are in this world, we are not home. We live as strangers, exiles, pilgrims through this present world. That feeling of exile, of never fully belonging, sharpens our desire for our permanent, perfect home with God and all His people.
